Tobias Oliver, QB-Georgia Tech

Tobias Oliver has looked better than TaQuon Marshall in recent weeks, rushing for at least 100 yards and two touchdowns in four of the last five games.  After leading the Yellow Jackets to a 38-28 win at North Carolina on Saturday, the freshman seems poised to take over the starting role on a full-time basis.

Ross Comis, WR-Massachusetts

In his second start since taking over after Andrew Ford’s season-ending injury, Comis went 29-of-44 for 540 yards and accounted for six total touchdowns in UMass’ 62-59 3OT win against Liberty.  Due to the fact that the waiver wire is so thin this late in the season, Comis makes the list, but fantasy owners should be aware that the Minutemen play BYU and Georgia over the next two weeks.

Damion Willis, WR-Troy

At this time of the year, sometimes the waiver wire is all about finding a hot player to plug into a Flex position during the fantasy playoffs.  In the past two games, Damion Willis has caught 15 passes for 345 yards and three touchdowns.  Through nine games, the 6-foot-2 senior receiver leads the Trojans in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns.

Isaiah Hodgins, WR-Oregon State

If being hot was the criteria used to mention Troy receiver Damion Willis, then we have to apply the same logic for Oregon State receiver Isaiah Hodgins.  In the past two games, Hodgins has caught 19 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns.  The Beavers will likely be playing from behind in their remaining three matchups, so he could be worth a late-season waiver pickup.

Lee Morris, WR-Oklahoma

Lee Morris turned in his best performance of the 2018 season in Oklahoma’s 51-46 win at Texas Tech, catching four passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns.  There probably aren’t many fantasy rosters in need of a player unlikely to catch more than two passes in a game, but Morris has been efficient.  The junior receiver has scored in four of the last five games, has caught two touchdowns passes in three of the last five games, and of his thirteen receptions in the past five games, seven have resulted in a touchdown.
