As the season nears its end, I want to personally thank everyone who has followed and supported theCFFsite throughout 2018.

If you have watched the weekly YouTube show, you are aware that I will be forming some bowl season leagues, very similar to those created last year.  Most will be money leagues ($25-$100), but I will put together a few free-to-play leagues as well.  Check back after Thanksgiving for details to play in one of the bowl season leagues.

I also mentioned on the show that the Weekly Notes & Observations would not be as detailed as they were in Weeks 1-10.  Most head-to-head leagues are down to four teams and traffic on the site does slow down this time of the year.  Like last year, I have decided to openly publish this week’s edition of the Notes & Observations.

Next week, I will make my 2018 exclusive email available to everyone that may need lineup advice in the final week of the College Fantasy Football season for their Championship/Consolation Game.

This week’s YouTube show will be the final one of the regular season, as I will not be doing a show next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.  Next week, the site is planning to publish a brief Week 12 Notes & Observations article, a Waiver Wire piece, and Week 13 Player Rankings.

Check back next week for any additional updates from theCFFsite.

Good luck this week and Happy Thanksgiving!

Weekly Observations

Power 5 Notes

  • TCU WR Jalen Reagor has caught a TD pass in five consecutive games.
  • Kansas State RB Alex Barnes has air least 22 carries in four of the last five games.
  • CVanderbilt RB KeShawn Vaughn has now scored at least one TD in seven of his last eight games.
  • Missouri RB Damarea Crockett has scored in four straight games and in six of the last seven.
  • Nebraska RB Devine Ozigbo has scored in five consecutive games and has scored at least 2 TDs in four of his last seven.
  • Indiana RB Stevie Scott has scored in three consecutive and has run for 100 yards in two of the past three games.
  • Ohio State RB JK Dobbins had his worst fantasy game of the season against Michigan State.
  • Michigan State WR Cody White could be a nice playoff addition at receiver.  The Spartans play Nebraska and Rutgers to close the season.
  • Florida plays Idaho this week, which could be a nice matchup for RB Lamical Perine.
  • Ole Miss RB Scottie Phillips left the game against Texas A&M with an ankle injury.  Isaiah Woullard led the Rebels with 64 rushing yards.  QB Jordan Ta’amu got banged up, too.
  • Texas A&M WR Jhamon Austin returned from injury and caught five passes for 66 yards.
  • Duke RB Deon Jackson has now scored in eight of his last nine games.
  • UCLA RB Joshua Kelley kept his scoring streak alive Saturday night and has now scored in six consecutive games.  Kelley is now 101 yards shy of a 1,000-yard season.
  • Arizona State RB Eno Benjamin has rushed for at least 175 yards in three consecutive games.  WR N’Keal Harry has at least 90 yards receiving in four consecutive games.
  • Virginia Tech QB Ryan Willis has accounts for at least 3 TDs in four consecutive games.
  • Pitt WR Maurice French has scored three TDs in the past two games.
  • Oklahoma State WR Tylan Wallace has 28 receptions, 564 receiving yards, and 5 TDs in the past three games.  WR Tyron Johnson has 19 receptions in the past two games.  RB Justice Hill left Saturday’s game against Oklahoma with a rib injury and Chuba Hubbard rushed for 104 yards and 3 TDs against the Sooners.
  • Oklahoma RB Trey sermon has scored at least 2 rushing TDs in three of the past four games.
  • Northwestern RB Isaiah Bowser has rushed for 100 yards and a TD in three of the last four games.
  • Alabama RB Damien Harris has scored in five consecutive games.  You’re in good shape if you have the Alabama DST next week against The Citadel, but most of the offensive stars won’t play much, if at all.
  • Oregon WR Dillon Mitchell has scored in five of the last six games and has over 100 yards receiving in five of the last seven.
  • Utah RB Armand Shyne ran for 174 yards in a 32-25 win over Oregon.  Shyne is a legitimate fantasy option in Week 12 against Colorado.
  • I did not think TaQuon Marshall would start over Tobias Oliver at quarterback for Georgia Tech, but he did and accounted for three touchdowns in the Yellow Jackets’ 27-21 win over Miami.
  • It took a long time for D’Andre Swift’s fantasy owners to get consistent returns.  Three straight 100-yard rushing games.  I jutst hope many of you are still alive in your leagues.
  • Texas Tech WR Antoine Wesley has at least 100 yards receiving in five straight games.  QB Jett Duffey has rushed for at least 80 yards four times.  I’m not sure if Alana Bowman will return this week or not.
  • Texas WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey has gone over 100 yards in each of the Longhorns’ past two games and has caught 17 passes and 3 TDs in the past two weeks.
  • Notre Dame RB Dexter Williams has rushed for at least 140 yards in four of six games.  WR Miles Boykin has caught TD pass in six straight games.

Group 5 Notes

  • Buffalo RB Jaret Patterson has rushed for at least 90 yards and scored in five consecutive games.  Buffalo plays @ Ohio and @ Bowling Green to end the season.
  • Miami (OH) RB Kenny Young has scored in five consecutive games going into this week’s matchup against NIU.
  • Toledo WR Cody Thompson’s four-game scoring streak came to an end against NIU, but he had his first 100-yard game of 2018.
  • Memphis RB Patrick Taylor has at least 20 rushing attempts in two of the last three games and has scored in three straight games.  WR Damonte Coxie has three consecutive 100-yard receiving games.
  • Navy QB Zach Abey could be a decent Week 12 pickup now that we’ve actually seen some production from the navy offense, although it was against UCF.
  • UCF RB Greg McCrae has rushed for at least 99 yards and a TD in three straight games.
  • Troy RB BJ Smith has at least 20 rushing attempts in four straight games, has scored in eight of ten games, and has four multiple TD games.
  • Liberty plays at Auburn in Week 12, but face NM State and Norfolk State in Weeks 13 & 14, if your season extends that far.
  • I completely whiffed on CMU RB Romeo Ross.  The Chippewas finished with 72 rushing yards against Bowling Green.  Puke!
  • Bowling Green RB Andrew Clair returned and rushed for 82 yards and a TD.  The Falcons p-lay Akron in Week 12.
  • Middle Tennessee WR Ty Lee has scored in four straight games, but the Blue Raiders play air Kentucky in Wee 12.
  • UTEP RB Quardraiz Wadley has rushed for at least 90 yards and 2 TDs in back-to-back games.
  • North Texas WR Rico Bussey has now scored in 8 of the last 9 games and has six 100-yard games this season.  RB DeAndre Torrey has scored 9 TDs in the past four games.
  • Old Dominion WR Travis Fulgham has scored in seven consecutive games.  QB Blake LaRussa has passed for 300 yards in three consecutive games.
  • ECU WR Trevon Brown has at least 140 receiving yards in four consecutive games with a matchup against UConn in Week 12.
  • Louisiana RB Elijah Mitchell has scored in five straight games.  RB Trey Ragas got injured in Saturday’s win against Georgia State.  RB Raymond calais carried the ball 13 times for 186 yards and three touchdowns against Georgia State.
  • FAU RB Kerrith Whyte has rushed for 160 yards in back-to-back weeks.
  • In PPR formats, Arkansas State WR Kirk Merritt has 18+ fantasy points in three consecutive games.
  • I wonder how many teams lost this past weekend that had Temple RB Ryquell Armstead?  In a 59-49 win at Houston, Armstead ran for 210 yards and six TDs, which represents everything we love about Full FBS college fantasy football.
  • South Florida RB Jordan Cronkrite continues to struggle. Ten rush attempts for 36 yards at Cincinnati.  Johnny Ford had 10 carries as well.
