QUARTERBACKS

Jarret Doege, West Virginia

Jarret Doege got the start at quarterback for West Virginia at Kansas State and led the Mountaineers to a 24-20 win, completing 20-of-30 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns.  After Saturday’s upset win, Doege will likely get another start this weekend at home against Oklahoma State.

Jaylon Henderson, Boise State

Senior quarterback Jaylon Henderson got the start at quarterback for Boise State against New Mexico and threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-9 win.  It remains too be seen if Henderson will start next week at Utah State, but if so, he could be given consideration in two-quarterback Full FBS formats.

RUNNING BACKS

Sione Finau, BYU

We’ve seen some attrition in the BYU backfield this season, but it seems as if Sione Finau is the best of what the Cougars currently have available.  In Saturday’s win over Idaho State, Finau carried the ball 16 times for 102 yards and a touchdown.  After seeing what Northwestern freshman running back Evan Hull (24-220-4) did against UMass this past weekend, you can be certain that many fantasy owners will be racing to the waiver wire for Finau, as BYU travels to Amherst, Massachusetts on Saturday.

RECEIVERS

Simi Fehoko, Stanford

For the past two weeks, Stanford receiver Simi Fehoko has been included on our Deep Sleepers list.  He has topped the 90-yard receiving mark and caught a TD pass in three straight games and five of his last thirteen receptions have gone for 35 yards or more.  As the Cardinal’s deep threat, Fehoko might be hit or miss, but lately, he’s been a hit.

Jadan Blue, Temple

In 2019, owning the right Temple receiver has been about timing.  Over the first two weeks of the season, Blue caught 15 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns.  However, in the ensuing six games, he averaged only 50 receiving yards per game and did not catch a single touchdown pass.  Going into the season’s final two weeks, Blue’s stock is back up, as he has caught 23 passes for 252 yards and a touchdown over the last two games, and a nice Week 14 matchup against UConn is on deck.

Obi Obialo, Marshall

Marshall receiver Obi Obialo made his season debut against Louisiana Tech on Friday night and caught eight passes for 146 yards in the Thundering Herd’s 31-10 win.  Obialo was our highest rated Marshall receiver in the 2019 Preseason Fantasy Guide, but unfortunately he hasn’t seen the field, until now.  If you need another receiver for the fantasy postseason, Obialo might be your guy, as Marshall plays Charlotte and FIU in the last two weeks.

TIGHT ENDS

Josh Harshman, Wyoming

If starting a tight end is required in your league, and you have been struggling to find production, Wyoming’s Josh Harshman may be coming along at the right time.  He has been the Cowboys’ leading receiver the past two weeks, catching six passes in back-to-back games.
