QUARTERBACKS

Dru Brown, Oklahoma State

Last week, it was reported that Oklahoma State starting quarterback Spencer Sanders would miss the remainder of the regular season with a thumb injury.  Dru Brown assumed the reigns and completed 22-of-29 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys’ 20-13 win at West Virginia.  This week, Brown will get the start against in-state rivals Oklahoma in Bedlam.

RUNNING BACKS

Shaq Vann, Eastern Michigan

Eastern Michigan running back Shaq Vann has topped the 90-yard rushing mark in four of the last five games and has three 100-yard games in his last four outings.  This week, Vann faces a Kent State defense giving up 260.8 yards per games on the ground, which is second-worst in the FBS.

RECEIVERS

Tim Jones, Southern Miss

Going into the Golden Eagles’ regular season finale at Florida Atlantic, Jones has caught a touchdown pass in three consecutive games and has topped the 90-yard receiving mark in three of his last four games.

Frank Darby, Arizona State

We never fully committed to Arizona State receiver Frank Darby with a Week 13 matchup against Oregon, but he had his biggest game of the season in the Sun Devils’ 31-28 upset of the Ducks.  Darby has now caught a touchdown pass in four consecutive games and has scored at least two touchdowns in three of the last four.
