The season is over for most, but for others, another is about to begin.
It’s time to start claiming spots in the Bowl Season Fantasy Leagues (click to join) that I will be organizing over the next couple of weeks. For those that are not familiar with the setup, let me offer up some details.
All leagues will be hosted on Fantrax. Each League will consist of up to 8 owners, who will participate in live drafts to fill 43 roster spots. All drafts will be snake-style and the draft pool will consist of players from all teams participating in a bowl game this year. Scoring is fairly standard, .5-PPR, and you will have plenty of time to digest and/or adjust to the scoring system in the League Rules section. Rosters will consist of: 8-QB; 8-RB; 8-WT; 12-RB-WT (Flex); and 7-DST (Kickers included in DST). No duplicate players allowed. Add/drops will be allowed post-draft and up until kickoff of a particular player’s game. No player can be dropped after their respective team’s game has started, unless he does not play or score 0.0 points. In the case that a player does not play or scores 0.0 points, he can be replaced with an available player from the player pool after he game has concluded. The roster with the highest cumulative point total throughout bowl season will be the League Champion. The rosters finishing 1st and 2nd in each league will win the prize money. I will try to have a couple of free leagues, but there will be several $25/$50/$100 leagues (Payout 1st 65%- 2nd 35%). There will be several drafts daily from December 14-December 19.
