Trying to figure out how to configure your 2020 College Fantasy Football league?  Hopefully, the following recommendations help:

WHEN TO DRAFT:  Anytime before the weekend of September 26 (Week 4) of the 2020 CFB season, which is the recommended window of the CFB schedule to use for CFF.

LEAGUE DURATION:  Your CFF league should start the weekend of Sep. 26 (Week 4) and run through the week of Nov. 28, allowing for a 10-week season.

HOW TO CUSTOMIZE:  Format your league to Full FBS, P5-only, or conference-specific.  Note:  Notre Dame is playing in the ACC, Old Dominion (CUSA), UMass (INDEP), and UConn (INDEP) have opted out of the 2020 CFB season.

STYLE OF PLAY:

1.  Head-to-Head (8-week regular season concluding with a 2-week playoff)

2.  Head-to-Head (10-week regular season, no playoff, best record wins)

3.  Most Points (Weekly lineups accrue points over 10-week period, team with most points throughout wins)

4.  Bestball (Probably the most challenging format to use, especially if games start getting rescheduled)

5. Weekly Redrafts (Allow fantasy owners to draft a different team every week.  Set limitations as to how many times you can use a particular player throughout the year.  Highest yearly point total wins.

ROSTERS:  Best determined by league commissioners.

Recommendation: Create an AUTO-SUB SYSTEM, 1 player at each position, so every owner has cover for a player that may get held out unexpectedly.  To make the auto-sub system less complicated, simplify your league’s Roster Configuration by combining TEs and WRs into one position, and either eliminate K completely or combine K into DST.
