Cal RB Kendrick Raphael has scored at least one rushing TD in four straight games. He has totaled seven TDs and is averaging 21.3 rush attempts per game during that stretch.
Northwestern RB Caleb Komolafe has rushed for at least one TD in five of the Wildcats’ last six games.
Nebraska RB Emmett Johnson has scored a TD in four of eight games this season, and all have been multi-TD performances. He has scored 10 TDs in five home games and has not scored in three road games. WR Nyziah Hunter has caught a TD pass in three of the Cornhuskers’ last four games.
With Kansas State RB Dylan Edwards only playing in four games this season, I wonder if he will shut it down and use a redshirt.
Ole Miss RB Kewan Lacy has scored at least one TD in seven of eight games and has four multi-TD games this season.
Georgia Tech QB Haynes King has scored a rushing TD in every game he has played this season. He has totaled 12 rushing TDs in seven games and has four 100-yard rushing performances.
I think we have finally seen the last of Auburn QB Jackson Arnold after he was replaced by Ashton Daniels in the Tigers’ 33–24 win at Arkansas. RB Jeremiah Cobb has posted back-to-back 100-yard rushing games.
With a rushing TD in Saturday’s 41–3 win over Minnesota, Iowa QB Mark Gronowski has now scored a rushing TD in all eight games this season. RB Kamari Mouton has rushed for at least 75 yards in four consecutive games.
Pitt RB Desmond Reid suffered another injury setback. You just cannot seem to start that guy with any confidence. Freshman RB Ja’Kyrian Turner has scored five rushing TDs in the last four weeks.
BYU QB Bear Bachmeier has scored a rushing TD in seven of eight games this season. RB LJ Martin left Saturday’s game against Iowa State with an injury, so we will have to monitor his status this week.
Missouri RB Ahmad Hardy has finished with 20 or more rush attempts in six of the Tigers’ last seven games.
Cincinnati QB Brendan Sorsby has thrown at least two TD passes in every game since the Week 1 loss against Nebraska. He has rushed for at least one TD in six of eight games this year. WR Cyrus Allen has caught at least one TD pass in six of the Bearcats’ last eight games.
Three of the four games in which Texas Tech RB J’Koby Williams has scored a TD have resulted in multi-TD games for the sophomore back.
I am glad that Oklahoma State WR Sam Jackson V never panned out at quarterback because I am not a fan of out-of-position moves that can have a major impact on fantasy leagues.
For just the second time this season, the Texas defense gave up more than 14 points. Hopefully, for many of you that started the Longhorns’ DST, the punt return TD, seven sacks, and one turnover helped.
TCU QB Josh Hoover had thrown at least three TD passes in five of his last six games, so one TD pass at West Virginia likely stung many of his fantasy owners.
If I had a choice of starting one Oregon running back every week, it would be Jordon Davison, who has scored in seven of eight games this season. Check for updates this week on QB Dante Moore, who left Saturday’s game against Wisconsin with an injury.
I know there will be some questions about Wisconsin RB Gideon Ituka after he carried the ball 21 times for 85 yards in the Badgers’ 21–7 loss at Oregon, but Wisconsin is a mess, and I wouldn’t touch him. The offense has not scored more than one offensive touchdown in a game since September 6, when they hosted Middle Tennessee.
Louisville racked up 317 rush yards in the win over Boston College, but it came at the expense of the passing game and WR Chris Bell, who finished with four catches for 49 yards after averaging 147.0 receiving yards in the Cardinals’ previous three games.
Freshman RB Harlem Berry got the start over Caden Durham, but buyer beware as the Tigers’ running game did not look much better against the Aggies Saturday night.
Keep an eye out for injury updates on Texas A&M RB Rueben Owens II. Owens limped out of the game late in the third quarter and never returned with A&M up 35–18.
Tennessee RB DeSean Bishop has scored a rushing TD in five straight games and has totaled eight TDs during that stretch.
Malik McClain was the Sun Devils’ go-to target in the absence of Jordyn Tyson, but if Tyson isn’t ready for next week’s matchup at Iowa State, I wouldn’t feel confident starting McClain against the Cyclones.
Did we get a glimpse of life in Utah after Devon Dampier? Freshman Byrd Ficklin passed for 140 yards and two TDs and also ran for 151 yards and a score in the Utes’ 53–7 win over Colorado.
Non-Power Conferences
FIU RB Kejon Owens has rushed for a TD in three straight games and totaled 246 rushing yards in the last two games. The Panthers play at Missouri State and Middle Tennessee in the next two weeks.
Middle Tennessee RB Jekail Middlebrook has totaled over 100 scrimmage yards in each of the Blue Raiders’ last four games.
South Alabama RB Kentrel Bullock posted his first 100-yard rushing game of the season in the Jaguars’ 38–31 win at Georgia State. The senior back has now scored at least one TD in seven of eight games this season.
North Texas QB Drew Mestemaker threw for a school-record 608 passing yards in Friday’s 54–23 win at Charlotte. WR Wyatt Young became the first Mean Green receiver to post back-to-back 100-yard receiving games this season. Young has totaled 15 receptions for 292 yards and four TDs in the last two games. RB Kiefer Sibley has scored a rushing touchdown in each of the four games he has played this season.
Old Dominion QB Colton Joseph has thrown at least three TD passes in four of his last five games.
South Florida QB Byrum Brown has rushed for over 100 yards in three of the Bulls’ last four games. WR Jeremiah Koger has caught a TD pass in four straight games.
Ohio WR Chase Hendricks has caught at least eight passes in six of eight games this season. RB Sieh Bangura has rushed for at least 100 yards in four of the Bobcats’ last five games and has scored five TDs in the last two weeks.
Memphis WR Cortez Braham Jr. has caught at least one TD pass in four of the Tigers’ last five games.
After having high hopes for Utah State QB Bryson Barnes coming out of Week 5, he has only accounted for four TDs in the last three games.
UConn QB Joe Fagnano has thrown at least three TD passes in each of the Huskies’ last three games. WR Skyler Bell has five 100-yard receiving games this year and has caught a TD pass in five straight games.
Temple WR Kajiya Hollawayne has posted at least 85 receiving yards in each of the Owls’ last three games.
Georgia Southern QB JC French IV is vulturing rushing TDs away from RB OJ Arnold. French has scored a rushing TD in three straight games and has five total for the season, whereas Arnold has three rushing TDs and has not put the ball in the end zone since the Eagles’ September 20 matchup against Maine. WR Camden Brown has caught at least one TD pass in seven of eight games this season.
