- After rushing for 69 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s win over West Virginia, Cartevious Norton seems primed to take over as the Cyclones’ RB1, with upcoming matchups against Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and TCU.
- Kansas running back Devin Neal has scored a rushing touchdown in three consecutive games. In Saturday’s 37-16 win over Oklahoma State, Neal totaled 334 yards from scrimmage (224 rushing/110 receiving).
- After accounting for ten touchdowns in the first six games of the year (7 pass/3 rush), LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels has accounted for 14 scores in the last three games (7 pass/7 rush).

- Central Michigan running back Lew Nichols returned to action this week, finishing with 92 rushing yards on 28 attempts, but quarterback Jase Bauer led the team with 109 yards and two touchdowns, while splitting snaps with Daniel Richardson. Bauer has rushed for 100-plus yards in back-to-back games.
