Power 5
- Oklahoma State RB Ollie Gordon seems cemented into the Cowboys’ RB1 role after another heavy workload against Kansas State. Gordon has rushed for 257 yards in the last two games.
- LSU QB Jayden Daniels has accounted for 4 TDs in five straight games. WR Malik Nabers has posted four consecutive 100-yard receiving games, WR Brian Thomas Jr. has 8 TDs in six games, and RB Logan Diggs has rushed for 100-plus yards in back-to-back games.
- Missouri WR Luther Burdenm III has caught at least 10 passes in three consecutive games and has topped 110 receiving yards in five consecutive games. Teammate Theo Wease Jr. has caught a TD pass in three consecutive games and in four of the last five.
- Maryland WR Kaden Prather has caught TD pass in four of six games this year.
- With only 8 rush attempts on Saturday, I can only assume Mississippi State RB Jo’Quavios Marks is playing a little banged up.
- Texas RB Jonathon Brooks has posted four consecutive 100-yard rushing games, topping the 125-yard mark three times.
- Boston College QB Thomas Castellano did not throw a TD pass in Saturday’s three-point win over Navy, but he ran for a season-high 142 yards and 4 TDs.
- I am not sure if consistency is on the horizon, but Alabama WRs Jermaine Burton and Isaiah Bond seem to be the pair that the offense will roll with for the foreseeable future.
- Central Florida RB RJ Harvey has scored at least one TD in five of six games and has three multiple-TD games.
- Georgia TE Brock Bowers has caught at least 7 passes in four consecutive games and is averaging 136.7 receiving yards per game over the last three weeks.
- With TE Luke Hasz out for the year due to injury, Arkansas TE Ty Washington stepped up and led the Razorbacks in receiving against Ole Miss, catching seven passes for 90 yards and 2 TDs.
- Ole Miss RB Quinshon Judkins scored a TD in Saturday’s win over Arkansas, which means he has scored at least one TD in five of six games this year, but he is only averaging 75.6 rushing yards per game. Last year, Judkins averaged 123.0 rushing yards per game. Teammate Ulysses Bentley IV has rushed for at least 90 yards and a TD in each of the last two games.
- Notre Dame TE Mitchell Evans has at least 70 receiving yards in each of the last three games.

- Baylor WR Monaray Baldwin has totaled 276 yards and 2 TDs in the last two games.
- Arizona WR Jacob Cowing has yet to post a 100-yard receiving game this year, but he has caught at least 7 passes in five of six games and he has scored at least one TD in five of six games. After two consecutive impressive outings, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Noah Fifita remain the Wildcats’ starting quarterback. In the last two weeks, Fifita has completed 52-of-74 passes for 535 yards and 8 TDs with 2 INTs.
Group 5
- New Mexico State QB Diego Pavia has thrown 2 or more TD passes in five of six games this year.
- Liberty QB Kaidon Salter accounted for only 2 TDs in the Flames’ win over sam Houston State, but he has accounted for at least 4 TDs in three of the last four games.
- Sam Houston State WR Noah Smith has caught at least 10 passes in back-to-back games
- Louisiana Tech RB Tyre Shelton has posted three consecutive 100-yard rushing games. I wouldn’t be surprised if Marquis Crosby opts to redshirt this season.
- Toledo WR Jerjuan Newton has caught a TD pass in all six games this year. He has 9 TD receptions in six games, but Newton has not topped the 80-yard mark in any game this year. RB Peny Boone has rushed for 100 yards in four consecutive games and has three multiple-TD games this year.

- After a slow start to the 2024 season, Northern Illinois RB Antario Brown has totaled 432 yards on the ground in the last two games.

- Troy RB Kimani Vidal has scored all seven of his TDs this season in the last three games, and he has rushed for more than 150 yards three times this year.
- South Florida QB Byrum Brown has thrown 2 or more TD passes in four of six games, has rushed for 80 yards or more four times, and has three multiple rush TD games.
- South Alabama WR Caullin Lacy had a season-high 156 receiving yards in the Jaguars’ blowout win over LA Monroe and he has now posted five consecutive 100-yard games. RB La’Damian Webb recorded his second 100-yard rushing game of the year on Saturday and he has now scored in five straight games.
- Southern Miss RB Frank Gore Jr. carried the ball 29 times against Old Dominion, but he only totaled 66 yards on the ground.
- It seems as if Colorado State WR Tory Horton did not play in the second half against Utah State.
- In the last two weeks, Utah State WR Jalen Royals has totaled 13 receptions for 325 yards and 5 TDs. He has now caught a TD pass in four of the Aggies’ last five games.
