QUARTERBACKS

Chevan Cordeiro, Hawaii

Well, last week’s late-game rally against Fresno State apparently earned Chevan Cordeiro an opportunity to start in Week 11 against San Jose State.  In the Rainbow Warriors’ 42-40 win, Cordero completed 23-of-31 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns, and added 55 yards and two scores on the ground.  It’s a pretty safe assumption that Cordeiro will start again in Week 12 at UNLV.

Next 3 weeks:  at UNLV, San Diego State, Army

Justin McMillan, Tulane

Tulane quarterback Justin McMillan has accounted for at least three touchdowns in four of his last six games and has scored at least one rushing touchdown in all but one game this season.  The Green Wave are coming off a bye, so McMillan may have been a forgotten man on the waiver wire.

Next 3 weeks:  at Temple, Central Florida, at SMU

RUNNING BACKS

Andrew Clair, Bowling Green

Bowling Green running back Andrew Clair was likely a forgotten man, playing in the Falcons’ win over Akron in Week 10.  A healthy Clair carried the ball 29 times for 86 yards and two touchdowns in that game.  Now clear of the Week 11 bye, Clair will likely get more attention on the waiver wire this week.

Next 3 weeks:  at Miami (OH), Ohio, at Buffalo

Ta’Zhawn Henry, Texas Tech

Going into the Week 11 matchup at West Virginia, Texas Tech was already without running back Armand Shyne, who was lost for the season with a rib injury.  On Saturday, SaRodorick Thompson left the game in Morgantown with an ankle injury and was unable to return.  Expect Henry to get most of the work when the Red Raiders host TCU in Week 12.

Next 3 weeks:  TCU, Kansas State, at Texas

Shakif Seymour, Toledo

Toledo’s starting running back, Bryant Koback, left last week’s game against Kent State with an ankle injury.  Koback’s injury is believed to be an ankle sprain, so his available for Wednesday’s game against Northern Illinois is in question.  In relief of Koback, Seymour carried the ball 28 times for 175 yards and two touchdowns in the Rockets’ 35-33 win.

Next 3 weeks:  Northern Illinois, at Buffalo, at Central Michigan

RECEIVERS

Juwan Johnson, Oregon

We’re pretty sure that at some point during the 2019 season, many fantasy owners parted ways with Oregon receiver Juwan Johnson, who did not have a reception until the Ducks’ October 11 game against Colorado.  Johnson caught seven passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns in the Ducks’ Week 10 win at USC, and he now has topped the 60-yard mark in back-to-back games.  Is Johnson quarterback Justin Herbert’s red zone replacement for injured tight end Jacob Breeland?

Next 3 weeks:  Arizona, at Arizona State, Oregon State
