- Boston College QB Thomas Castellanos has thrown at least 2 TD passes in five of six games this year, but his inability to run the ball has limited his fantasy production. Through six games, Castellanos has 161 rushing yards, whereas he totaled 957 rushing yards and scored 11 rushing TDs in 2023.
- After averaging 9.7 receptions and 114.7 yards per game during a three-game stretch from Weeks 5-7, Syracuse WR Jackson Meeks has totaled only 10 receptions for 89 yards in the last two games.
- Minnesota RB Darius Taylor posted his third 100-yard rushing game of the season on Saturday against Illinois, and he has now caught at least 5 passes in four of the last five games.
- Ohio State RBs Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson have combined for only one rushing td in the Buckeyes’ last five games. WR Jeremiah Smith failed to score a TD for the first time this year in Saturday’s win at Penn State. Had he not misplayed a throw inside the five yard line early in the fourth quarter, he likely would have extended his scoring streak.
- Last year, I remember thinking that Penn State wasn’t ‘championship good’ with Drew Allar at quarterback. I still feel the same this year.
- UCF RB RJ Harvey has scored at least one tD in eight of nine games and has scored 2 or more TDs six times. WR Jacoby Jones has posted 100 receiving yards and a TD in back-to-back games.
- North Carolina RB Omarion Hampton has scored a TD in five of nine games this season and in four of those five games he scored two or more TDs.
- Iowa State WR Jayden Higgins has caught a TD pass in seven of eight games and has topped 100 receiving yards in three of the last four games.
- Another week, another 20-plus carries for Texas Tech RB Tahj Brooks (25-122-1).
- Oregon WR Tez Johnson left Saturday’s game on the first offensive drive and watched the rest of the game with his arm in a sling. Just speculation on my part, but I think he might be out for a few weeks, which likely means a bump for Traeshon Holden and Evan Stewart.
- Mississippi State RB David Booth has scored a TD in four straight games.
- USC WR Makai Lemon has posted at least 70 receiving yards in four consecutive games. RB Woody Marks has scored a TD in four of the Trojans’ last five games.
- Iowa RB Kaleb Johnson has scored a TD in all nine games this season and has seven multiple-TD games.
- Louisville RB Isaac Brown has scored at least one TD in four straight games and has carried the ball at least 18 times in three of the last four games.
- Tennessee RB Dylan Sampson has scored at least one TD in all eight games this season and has seven multiple-TD games.
- Texas A&M RB Amari Daniels gets a bump if LeVeon Moss’ injury keeps him out of action for an extended period of time.
- Baylor QB Sawyer Robertson’s streak of accounting for 3 or more TDs came to a nightmarish halt for his fantasy owners, as the Bears scored 5 rushing TDs against TCU and Robertson didn’t have a single TD.
- After accounting for 18 TDs (15 passing) in the first five games of the season, Pitt QB Eli Holstein has accounted for only 2 TDs in the last three games.

- San Diego State RB Marquez Cooper has scored at least one rushing TD in five straight games.
- Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty has averaged 31.7 rush attempts per game over the last three games.
- FAU RB CJ Campbell has scored a TD in five of the last six games, three of those being multiple-TD games.
- Georgia State WR Ted Hurst has caught a TD pass in six of the Panthers’ last seven games.
- Tulane RB Makhi Hughes has scored a TD in all nine games this season and has scored 2 TDs in four of the last five games.
- Kennesaw State RB Michael Benefield has scored a rushing TD in three of the last four games.
- I’m not sure there was a better fantasy back in the month of October than Jacksonville State’s Tre Stewart, who totaled 694 rushing yards and scored 12 TDs in four games.
- FIU WR Eric Rivers has caught a TD pass in six of nine games this season and has finished with at least 90 receiving yards in six of the last seven games.
- After scoring 2 TDs on Saturday, Memphis RB Mario Anderson has scored in eight of nine games this year and has five multiple score games.
- UTSA QB Owen McCown has quietly become a fantasy option, especially after back-to-back 4 TD games. The sophomore quarterback has now thrown at least 3 TD passes in four of his last six games.
- UAB WR Amare Thomas has caught eight passes and 2 TDs in each of the last two games and has now caught a TD pass in four straight games.
- LA Monroe RB Ahmad Hardy has scored a TD in six of eight games this season and has rushed for over 100 yards in four of the last five games.
- Marshall RB AJ Turner has scored 7 TDs in the last four games.
- New Mexico has scored at least 50 points in each of the last three games and has allowed at least 37 points in each of those three game. Fantasy fun! Fantasy owners of John Mateer have to be eying that Week 13 matchup against the Lobos.
- Fresno State RB Elijah Gilliam has scored at least one TD in six of the last seven games.
- Nevada QB Brendan Lewis has rushed for at least 1 rushing TD in four consecutive games has totaled 90-plus yards in three of the last four games.
