- Middle Tennessee WR Elijah Metcalf has caught a TD pass in three consecutive games and in four of the last five.
- Liberty RB Quinton Cooley has earned himself the ‘must start’ label after his fourth consecutive 100-yard rushing game. He has topped the 100-yard mark in five of the last six games and has scored 6 TDs in the last three games. WR CJ Daniels has caught a TD pass in four of his last six games.
- South Alabama RB La’Damian Webb has now scored a TD in six straight games and he has scored 2 or more TDs four times. WR Caullin Lacy has posted six consecutive 100-yard receiving games.
- Sam Houston State WR Noah Smith has caught at least 8 passes in four consecutive games and has scored 5 TDs in the last four games.
- New Mexico State QB Diego Pavia has scored a rushing TD in three straight games.
- For as difficult a chore it has been to project SMU receivers this year, tight end RJ Maryland has been fairly consistent, as he has caught a TD pass in four of six games.
- Air Force FB Emmanuel Michel is averaging 24.6 rushing attempts per game over the last five games, but has gone back-to-back weeks without a score after totaling 8 TDs during the first three weeks of that five-game stretch.

- Eastern Michigan RB Samson Evans has now scored a rushing TD in four straight games.
- Just when I had written off Ball State RB Marquez Cooper, he goes for 162 yards and a TD in the Cardinals’ 24-17 win over Central Michigan.
- North Texas WR Ja’Mori Maclin has caught a TD pass in all seven games this season.
- Tulane RB Makhi Hughes has rushed for at least 100 yards and a TD in three consecutive games and WR Lawrence Keys has caught a TD pass in four straight games.
- South Florida RB Nay’Quan Wright has rushed for 100 yards in back-to-back games and has scored a TD in four of the last five games.
- New Mexico RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt got banged up in Saturday’s win over Hawaii, but he still managed to post his fourth multiple-score game of the season and has scored at least one TD in six of seven games this year.
- UTSA RB Robert Henry has scored a rushing TD in three straight games and in four of the last five. Four of WR Tykee Ogle-Kellogg’s last ten catches have resulted in a TD.
- After five consecutive games with at least 9 receptions, FAU WR LaJohntay Wester finished with a season-low 4 receptions for 14 yards against UTSA.
- Arkansas State WR Courtney Jackson has caught a TD pass in four of the last five games.
- UNLV RB Donavyn Lester has scored a rushing TD in four consecutive games.

- Filling in for the injured Nate Noel, Appalachian State RB Kanye Roberts carried the ball 26 times for 109 yards in the Mountaineers’ 28-21 loss at Old Dominion.
- Old Dominion RB Keshawn Wicks has scored 2 rushing TDs in back-to-back weeks. Teammate Ladarius Calloway has rushed for at least 90 yards in each of the Monarchs’ last three games.
- Georgia State RB Marcus Carroll posted his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season in the Panthers 20-17 win at Louisiana, but he failed to score a TD for the first time this year.
