- BYU WR Chase Roberts has caught a TD pass in three of the Cougars’ last four games.
- Clemson freshman WR Tyler Brown has now posted three solid performances in a row. In the Tigers’ 31-14 win over Syracuse, he caught 8 passes for 151 yards.
- USC QB Caleb Williams has accounted for 4 or more TDs in each of the Trojans’ first five games. WR Brenden Rice has caught a TD pass in all five games this year and has caught 2 TD passes in each of the last two games. Teammate Tahj Washington has caught a TD pass in four of five games.
- Colorado freshman WR Omarion Miller led the Buffaloes in receiving against USC, catching 7 passes for 196 yards and a TD.
- I was worried about Kentucky coming out of an easy non-conference schedule, but I’ve pivoted back on RB Ray Davis, who totaled 289 scrimmage yards and scored 4 TDs in the Wildcats’ 33-14 win over Florida.
- Virginia WR Malik Washington has caught at least 9 passes in three straight games.
- Boston College WR Lewis Bond has caught a TD pass in three straight games and in four of five games this year.
- Arizona State RB Cameron Skattebo has scored a rushing TD in four of five games this year.
- Cal RB Jaydn Ott has scored a rushing TD in all four games in which he has played.
- Rutgers WR Christian Dremel has caught TD pass in three straight games. RB Kyle Monangai has scored a rushing TD in four of five games this year, Michigan being the only opponent he did not score against.
- Michigan WR Roman Wilson has three multiple-TD games this season. Supposedly, Donovan Edwards will get more work in an attempt to keep Corum fresh and healthy over the long run. Still, Corum had 16 rush attempts to Edwards’ 8 when the score was 35-0, and I believe Corum will still get the GL carries.
- Georgia RB Daijun Edwards has scored 5 TDs in his first three games played this year.
- Texas RB Jonathon Brooks has topped the 100-yard rushing mark in three straight games and has scored 2 TDs in back-to-back games.
- Texas Tech RB Tahj Brooks has posted three consecutive 100-yard rushing games.
- Purdue RB Tyrone Tracy has now scored a rushing TD in five straight games, and in Saturday’s matchup against Illinois he carried the ball a season-high 21 times for 112 yards.
- Missouri WR Luther Burden posted his fourth straight 100-yard receiving game on Saturday.
- Last year, Oklahoma QB Dillon Gabriel threw 24 TD passes and ran for another 5 TDs. Through five games this season, he has thrown 15 TD passes and has run for 4 TDs.
- LSU WR Malik Nabers has caught at least 8 passes for 100 yards in three straight games, while teammate Brain Thomas has totaled 257 receiving yards and 5 TDs in the last two games. QB Jayden Daniels has accounted for at least 4 TDs in four straight games.
- Oregon QB Bo Nix has thrown 3 or more TD passes in four of five games this year.
- Duke RB Jordan Waters extended his scoring streak to five straight games with a 4th quarter TD run against Notre Dame.

- Tulsa RB Anthony Watkins has carried the ball at least 20 times in each of the last two games and he scored a TD in both games.
- Western Kentucky QB Austin Reed has accounted for three or more scores in three of five games, but his 11 TD passes through five games has him behind last year’s pace (36 pass TDs). WR Easton Messer has caught a TD pass in three of the last four games.
- Jacksonville State RB Malik Jackson has rushed for 100-plus yards in three of five games this year.
- South Alabama WR Caullin Lacy has posted four consecutive 100-yard receiving games, and he has topped the 130-yard mark in three of those games.
- Utah State WR Jalen Royals has caught a TD pass in three of the last four games. Teammate Terrell Vaughn had zero targets on Saturday. He went into the game averaging 13 targets per game.
- Marshall RB Rasheen Ali has scored 2 or more TDs in all four games this season.
- Arkansas State QB Jaylen Raynor has accounted for 11 TDs in his first two games as a starter. Against UMass, he passed for 383 yards and 6 TDs in the Red Wolves 52-28 road win. In comparison, Arkansas State QBs threw 16 TD passes and ran for 5 TDs last year.
- UMass RB Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams has scored a rushing TD in three consecutive games.
- In three games this season, Wyoming RB Harrison Waylee has averaged 133.0 rushing yards per game.
- In the three games without RB George Holani being active, Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty has scored 9 TDs and totaled 462 yards from scrimmage.
- Colorado State WR Tory Horton’s final numbers in 2022 were 71-1131-8. Through four games of the 2023 season, he has already caught 45 passes for 540 yards and 6 TDs. TE Dallin Holker has caught a TD pass in each of the Rams’ first four games.
- Texas State RB Ismail Mahdi’s utilization rate has increased the last two weeks, as he has totaled 35 rushing attempts in the last two games. The speedy sophomore has totaled 9 TDs in five games (7 rushing, 1 receiving, and 1 return).
- After a slow start to the 2023 season, Southern Miss RB Frank Gore Jr. has rushed for 255 yards and 3 TDs in the last two games.
- Georgia Southern WR Khaleb Hood has posted back-to-back 100-yard receiving games and has scored a TD in three of the last four games. Hood has already matched his TD total from last year.
- North Texas WR Ja’Mori Maclin has caught a TD pass in four straight games. Five of his 13 receptions have resulted in a score. RB Ayo Adeyi has posted back-to-back 100-yard rushing games.
- Georgia State RB Marcus Carroll extended his scoring streak to five straight games with his 19-75-1 performance in Saturday’s loss to Troy.
- Air Force FB Emmanuel Michel scored 2 rushing TDs in the Falcons’ 49-10 win over San Diego State and he has now totaled 8 TDs in the last three games.
- After a slow start, Appalachian State RB Nate Noel still topped the 100-yard rushing mark. He has reached the 100-yard mark in all five games this year.
